Iris Lin is the founder and CEO of Haifeng. Prior to founding Haifeng, Iris spent two years at Taikang Asset Management with the responsibility for the operations, technology and product development from 2013-2014. Prior to joining Taikang, Iris was the Chief Architect at Yonyou Fintech in 2012. Prior to that, Iris worked for eight years as Head of Operations at Goldman Sachs Asset Management China, where she played a number of business management roles. Prior to that, Iris used to work in the Department of Fund Custody in ICBC and China Everbright Bank. Iris was the member of SAC settlement committee and nominated as a member in AMAC. Iris gained a BSc in Economic from Renmin University of China. She also is a qualified auditor with an ACCA CDFA certificate.
Fan Gao is a co-founder and the Chief Technology Officer of Haifeng with responsibility for technology strategy and IT and business processes. He was the Director of Data Management Team at Taikang Asset Management. Before his role at Taikang, Fan spent eight years with Goldman Sachs Technology in New York where he worked in DB Service Team. Prior to that, Fan joined Sun Microsystem in 2003, where he took in place in the development of Solaris X86 kernel and network driver team. Fan graduated from Syracuse University with a Master degree in Computer Engineering. He started his academic career at the Institute of Computing Technology in the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2000 and got his first Master degree in Computer Science there in 2003. Prior to that, Fan earned an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Technology from Tsinghua University.
He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in chemistry from Peking University and a master's degree in chemistry from the Rochester College (University of Rochester). Two times experience of self-employed after he returned home, and eight years work experience in New Oriental Education Technology Group after that. At the beginning of 2007, he founded the Internet advertising big data company called “second hand system”. One of the IDG Capital Partners, also Joined the Huaxing capital, focus on the investment field of education consumption and TMT. Lead and participate in many successful financing cases. FREES FUND founded in August 2015.
